The one-sentence version

Color Decision does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you.

What the app does and does not do

• Does not require an account or login
• Does not transmit data to any server
• Does not use analytics or crash reporting SDKs
• Does not include advertising
• Does not track you across apps or websites
• Works entirely offline

Camera access

Color Decision requests access to your device camera so you can preview ASC CDL grades applied in real time to a live camera feed. Camera frames are processed entirely on-device and are never saved, transmitted, or retained after you close the app.

The PRO upgrade includes manual camera controls (ISO, shutter speed, white balance). These controls do not change what happens to the image data — it is still processed on-device only.

You can deny camera access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera. The app’s CDL editing and export functions remain available without camera access.

Photo library access

Color Decision can optionally display a CDL grade preview on a still image from your photo library. Photo library access is optional. Images are loaded directly into the app’s preview layer and are not copied, transmitted, or stored outside the app.

In-app purchases

The Color Decision PRO upgrade is a one-time in-app purchase processed entirely by Apple. My Cinema Tools, LLC does not receive or store your payment information. Apple’s privacy policy governs the purchase transaction.

Grades and exported files

CDL grades you create are stored locally on your device. Exported .cdl or .ccc files are saved to your device or shared via the system share sheet. We do not retain copies of your grades or exports.

Children

Color Decision is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we update this privacy policy, we will update the “last updated” date above.
