No Data Collected

My EDL to CDL Tools does not collect, store, transmit, share, or sell any personal data or user information of any kind.

How the App Works

All processing occurs entirely on your device. The app reads EDL files only from locations you explicitly choose using the system file picker, and writes output files only to the folder you select for export. No file content, metadata, or usage information is sent anywhere.

No External Communication

This app does not communicate with any external server, service, or third party, with one exception: if you choose to leave an optional tip, the purchase is processed by Apple’s App Store services (StoreKit). The app itself sends no data anywhere. No analytics, advertising SDKs, crash reporters, or telemetry frameworks are included.

No Tracking

This app does not use cookies, identifiers, or any tracking technology. It has no access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or any data outside of the files you explicitly open.

Third-Party Frameworks

This app uses only Apple system frameworks (SwiftUI, Foundation, UniformTypeIdentifiers, StoreKit). No third-party code or SDKs are included.

Tip Jar (In-App Purchases)

This app offers optional, voluntary tips as in-app purchases. All payment processing is handled exclusively by Apple through the standard App Store purchase flow. No payment information, purchase history, or personal data is accessible to or stored by this app or by My Cinema Tools. Tips unlock no features — the app is fully functional without them.

Changes to This Policy

If a future version of the app introduces any data collection, this policy will be updated before that version is released and users will be notified via App Store release notes.
