The one-sentence version

Mochi Jikan does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information about you.

What the app does and does not do

• Does not require an account or login
• Does not transmit data to any server
• Does not use analytics or crash reporting SDKs
• Does not include advertising
• Works entirely offline

Information stored on your device

The app stores your preferences and settings locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

Audio and Bluetooth

The app plays pre-recorded audio files and uses Apple’s AVFoundation for text-to-speech voice cues. All audio processing is performed on your device. No audio is recorded or transmitted. The app optionally responds to volume-button Bluetooth remotes through system volume observation. This does not require Bluetooth permissions and does not store data about any Bluetooth device.

In-app purchases (optional tip jar)

The app offers an optional tip jar powered by Apple’s StoreKit framework. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive, store, or have access to your payment information.

Children

The app does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “last updated” date above.
