Overview

Mochi Jikan is a round timer for martial arts and combat sports. This policy explains what data the app does and does not collect.

The short version: we collect nothing. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics, no data leaves your device.

Data We Collect

None.

Mochi Jikan does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no login, no registration, and no connection to any external server.

Data Stored on Your Device

The app stores the following information locally on your device only:

• Timer presets you create (round duration, rest duration, alert preferences)
• App settings (volume level, sound mode preference)
• Practice log — dates, session types, and durations of completed practice sessions
• Any notes you add to a practice session (free text you write yourself)

This data never leaves your device. It is not backed up to any server operated by the developer. It may be included in your iCloud device backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled — this is controlled entirely by your own Apple ID settings.

Practice Log Backups

You can export your practice log — including any notes you’ve written — as a file from the Practice Log screen. The exported file is saved wherever you choose (such as the Files app or iCloud Drive) and remains entirely under your control. It is never transmitted to, or accessible by, the developer.

Microphone

Mochi Jikan does not request microphone access. The app does not record audio.

Bluetooth

The app supports Bluetooth camera shutter remotes for hands-free timer control. Bluetooth connectivity is handled entirely by iOS at the system level. The app does not use the CoreBluetooth framework, does not scan for devices, and does not collect any information about Bluetooth devices.

In-App Purchases

Mochi Jikan offers optional tip purchases through Apple’s App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. The developer does not receive or store any payment information, billing details, or purchase history beyond what Apple provides in aggregate App Store sales reporting.

Third-Party Services

Mochi Jikan uses no third-party SDKs, analytics services, advertising networks, or crash reporting services. No data is shared with any third party.

Children

Mochi Jikan does not collect any data from any user, including children under 13. The app is appropriate for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes in a future version of the app, the updated policy will be included in the app update release notes and reflected in the date at the top of this document.
